Iphone for everyone?

It is impossible to mention a cell phone, smartphone, or mp3 player without referrence to Apple's blockbuster product, the Iphone. Apple is a market leader and an innovator and the Iphone is picking up where the Ipod left off. How many commercials for new phones do you see where each phone is being compared to the Iphone in hopes of stealing some market share away from Apple? In the realm of Touchscreen phones, the Iphone truly is king!

We've been hearing of the Iphone killer and which new phone is going to take down Apple, and yet, none have even come close to Apple. So, how does Apple do it? What is it about the Iphone that makes people pay more to get it?

Number has to the igenuity of Apple and what they've been able to do. They entered a market  that was dominated by names such as Nokia, Samsung, Ericsson, Motorola, etc. as the underdog and they have turned the market upside down. The ingenuity in that organization is amazing. In the 90's Apple was almost out of business and their turnaround story is akin to the story of "Cinderella".

The Iphone has focused on the consumer side of the market, and now that they've seen so much success, they are venturing into the business side. The phone offer tremendous amounts of memory, which allows for the storage of media files, pictures, music, etc. The number one problem that users complain about other phones on the market...even the Blackberry is the lack of memory. Iphone understands the needs of its users and gives them plenty of memory. This feature in itself has been a catalyst for some to choose the Iphone over its competitors.
